New email blacklist policy

Due to an increase in spam (unwanted and unsolicited email) it has become essential for ISPs to provide a method of removing spam from their customers mailboxes.

Tubs & Co have taken the decision to block and remove the spam. We use blacklists of IP addresses (nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn) and Domain Names (yourname.com) to achieve this and catch a good percentage of spam and delete it before it gets to the mail box.

Unfortunately some mail may be deleted which was not spam but this should be only a minute percentage. Tubs & Co customers should contact the support desk if important mail is being blocked.

Also we have blocked mail from YAHOO, MSN, HOTMAIL and other 'throw away' mail accounts. This is because the vast majority of spam is routed through these types of accounts.

Customers should also report spam to us for adding to our blacklist.
